Do not become a sadist – whether by commission or omission, especially when someone is winning; always try to appreciate good things.
Learn to support and encourage your compatriots who are doing well, or who are even attempting to do well. You gain nothing by destroying people or trying to undermine their efforts, you may end up hurting yourself if you fail to see the positive side of things.
It is ridiculous to criticise someone’s products or services which you do not use, and with no intention to use in the future. Destructive criticism helps no one, because the intent is neither edifying nor elevating; let your criticism be such that pushes people to improve, in order to give the best version of themselves each time.
Celebrate wins, be they successful fundraising by a start-up, introduction of products into the market, promotions in work places; celebrate them all, you are better off that way.
Again, be happy when you see several names of your compatriots making it to the billionaires list; still better than not having any, or celebrating poverty as though it’s now a virtue. With more rich people, there is a better chance for national development, you cannot say the same when most people are poor.
Always strive to be positive, you are happier that way.
